Refund Policy

1. How Our Billing Works

Dial It AI operates on a prepaid credit system. You purchase credits before using the service, and credits are deducted based on the duration of each completed call. Our current rate is approximately $0.03 per second (~$1.80 per minute). The minimum credit purchase is $5.00.

Credits do not expire and remain in your account until used. There are no recurring charges or subscriptions — you only pay for what you use.

2. Refund Eligibility

Full Refund

You are entitled to a full refund of your unused credit balance if:

  • You request a refund within 14 days of your most recent credit purchase
  • The credits have not been used for any completed calls

Partial Refund

You may receive a partial refund of your remaining unused credits if:

  • You request a refund within 30 days of purchase
  • Some credits have been used — only the unused portion is refundable

Automatic Credit (No Refund Needed)

In the following cases, your credits are not deducted at all, so no refund is necessary:

  • The call failed to connect (busy, no answer, invalid number)
  • The call dropped due to a technical error on our side
  • The AI agent encountered an error and could not complete the task

Service Disruption Refund

If you were charged for a call that was interrupted or failed due to a problem with our service (not the recipient's phone), we will automatically refund the credits for that call. If automatic detection misses a failed call, contact us and we will investigate and issue a credit.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Credits used for completed calls, regardless of the call outcome (e.g., the business was closed, the recipient declined your request)
  • Credit purchases made more than 30 days ago
  • Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service (including fraud, harassment, or illegal activity)
  • Dissatisfaction with the AI's performance on a connected call (the call was completed as intended; the AI performed to the best of its ability)

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us with the following details:

  • Subject line: "Refund Request"
  • The email address associated with your Dial It AI account
  • The date and approximate amount of the purchase
  • The reason for your refund request

5. Refund Processing

  • Refund requests are reviewed within 3 business days
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method
  • Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed

6. Account Cancellation

You may close your Dial It AI account at any time by contacting us at support@dialitai.com.

Upon account closure:

  • Unused credits purchased within the last 30 days are eligible for a refund
  • Credits older than 30 days are forfeited
  • Your call history and transcripts will be deleted within 30 days
  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

7. Disputes

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or disagree with a refund decision, please contact us at support@dialitai.com. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days. We encourage you to resolve billing questions with us directly before filing a chargeback with your payment provider, as chargebacks may result in account suspension.
